Profile - Dr Pascal Haefliger

Pascal Haefliger, PhD, MChem, MASPH, is the founder and director of Health & Environment Consulting. Dr Haefliger is a specialist in chemical safety, environmental health, and disaster management. He has extensive international experience in the development of technical and scientific materials, in project management, in capacity building and training, in monitoring and evaluation, and in the provision of humanitarian and development aid for chemical and environmental health emergencies.

Pascal Haefliger previously worked as a scientific researcher at the University of Zurich and as a technical officer at the Department of Public Health and Environment of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Pascal holds a Master in Chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Zurich, a Master of Advanced Studies in Public Health from the University of Geneva, and an Executive Master in International Negotiation and Policy Making from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
